A Sad Goodbye

I love this cottage (the sweetness coastal home), I love SPRY (the store it is from) and I love Stacie Pryor (the creator). This is my last blog post so I thought I would share something very special from a person that has inspired me over my years in SL. From her blogging to creating, more so the kind sweet person that she is.

Today for me was a sad day. I did something I swore I never would again. I cried over things that happened on plurk but was SL related. For me that gave me the answer I have been looking for. I have been searching for direction for a while now. Wanting a new challenge but longing for the fun to come back. In the middle of  all the nasty  stuff I found answers.
I wont be blogging anymore but I am helping set up a Vintage Fair (http://vintagefair.wordpress.com/). Vintage is something close to my heart in SL and RL. This is an event I have wanted for over a year and now I have found someone to help me get it happening.
Writing this is harder than I thought but I know it is the right thing to do so ....

Want Something Special ?

Do you ever feel like everyone has the same thing at times. So many of us shop at 'sale days' we can feel we all own the same stuff and nothing is unique. Now don't get me wrong I love the ' sale day events', Moody Monday is my favourite. Just at times I wish I owned something that was just mine.
Let me share with you what I will be going to tomorrow. It is an event called B.UNIQUE. This is a little different to many other events that are happening. Only a small amount of these items are  going to be sold. They will be out at full price, unique is worth paying for. Tomorrow on the 1st September  everything is put out, then on the 22nd September everything is taken down, never to be sold again. Only a few of these will ever be owned in SL, so either they sell out before the 22nd or are taken down on that date. 
Below I am going to share the vendor pictures, I can not show you the items, these are not given out to bloggers and will not be out to buy until tomorrow. Maybe I will see you over at B. UNIQUE.

My Dark Side

I love to change my skins often and wear many different tones. That is  one of the fun things in SL for me. Adam n Eve have just released a new skin called Jamila.  It comes in 4 tones, I am showing you 2 so you get an idea of what is on offer. There is a shade lighter and one in between as well. The shading and detail is  just stunning, as expected from Sachi. She has been brave to make such dark tones, not many stores offer them. Sachi is a true artist.

Any Dream Will Do

It feels like forever from my last blog post, at one point I wondered if I would ever blog again. I have been trying to learn the viewer 2 set-up. Yes I know I am late to the party but I just hate change so much. Anyway I decided I needed to get out and explore while I tried to work the thing out. 
As soon as I arrived on this sim I remembered a gown I had from Kouse Sanctum called Gabrielle. It comes in 8 unbelievably stunning colours, each with golden gilt trimming. How could I not want to blog when I am wearing something this beautiful. TP over and see what colour you are going to get.

For me hunts are all about finding new places and being reminded of great stores. That is why you need to do the Platinum Hunt that starts tomorrow.

This gift from Baffle in the Platinum hunt id just brilliant. It has poses built in and you can also change the pictures to more personal ones of you wish. The light gives a nice feel  which makes this a fun thing to either have in a garden or in your home. Do you see the mouse ? cute detail like that makes this gift a win. Even if you do not have land still get this. I remember not keeping gifts before I have my own space, I regret that now.

This dress is the BOMB.It is from Sn@tch, a store around in SL for such a long time and a good one to remember to visit often. Ivey brings out new things faster than most.  Primrose Path comes in blue, pink and yellow, stockings come with it as well. Adorable outfit to wear over and over.

I Need To Live Here

This is how I feel at some part of most days. Plurk is going nuts with the riots in England. Different people have different thoughts depending on background and upbringing. All I wanted to do is crawl into this room and hide. What sends you round the bend ? Go get this poseprop and share your pictures with me. It is part of the Platinum Hunt so make sure you grab it.  You have to visit Adorkable, its a cool store with brilliant poses and props on a sim that is really nice to walk around.

The cute clothes are from DCNY, never go wrong with that store. Skin is ISPACHI, a great skin store and not to common that you will look like a twin with most others on the grid. Oh and you need this hair from  LeLutka called Rykiel Hair

RUNNNNNNNNNN !!!!!!!!!!!!

You have to run over today and get these cardigans from L`Abel. 55L for both, but it is only for today. There are other colours set for full price in the store. When I am just running around SL shopping or dressing a house to blog (as I was today), this is what I wear often. 
The other top and pants are both from L`Abel as well and  worth getting - along with everything else in the store.

Stepford Wife ?

 I have been out playing again and found another sim I have never been to. It is called Stepford and so pretty to walk around. I had to find a place that was fitting to wear the goodies from Hatpins. We never wear enough hats in SL. Though when folk do it can be hard to get hair that fits with it. Reghan has sorted that problem out and made hair with these hats. I have the blond  and it offers 5 shades.  

Louisa is colourful with the big flower  surrounded with so much detail it must have taken forever to make.
Florence has a coloured ribbon trim with  a sweet bow detail to the side. 
In the last picture here I have earrings on. They just help add to the overall vintage feel. Left is the Deco Earrings - yellow tourmaline, the right is Atom Pink Glass Earrings
To often I see people saying things are vintage and it isn't really. If you want the real look you could do well to visit Hatpins.
