Found My Christmas Tree

I have been looking around SL for a tree I liked that didn't eat prims but still looked great and I think I found it !

These pics have not been touched - only thing I have done is use some basic wind light settings on LLs own viewer, nothing more.I places it on the Ivalde sim over were the rainbow and waterfall is - so you can check for yourself.

The tree is from Pannie's and she has many others and is still making more. This one is 250L and 6 prims - a bargain as far as I can see. Also this never caused the sim to lag either which is important

Plurk is a great place to get to know folk that otherwise you would never meet in SL - Gita Rau is one of those people .
Over time chatting I found out she had a store and made cute jewerly.
So here is one of the sets she has on sale right now and only cost 25L



The Miaa Fall Set has the rich autumn colours that adds warmth to any outfit you wear this with. Bracelet comes for both arms , so you get to decide what you wear and not forced to just one arm.

The earrings are large double hoops - but not to big, which is a problem I have sometimes found in SL

Even if you just want the bracelet or the earrings 25L is well worth paying .

Pannie's

Pannie Paperdoll's store is simply called Pannies. It would be hard to give it any other name as she makes so much and its all so different that you can not put her in any box and call it a certain type of store.
Today I am going to show you something from her kitchen range - though you will be seeing much much more from her on this blog and see for yourself just how many different things she really does make.

This fridge is well made and a good size. To many times in Sl things are made to big and looks silly.
It is only 4 prims and for that both doors open to show stocked shelves. For such a low prim count this would set of any SL home and help make it more real for those who like to hang out and party


Now the stove !
This is really cool - the door opens so you can get your turkey in and the top even lights to make it far more real looking. Perfect for those in Sl that love to role play and have the family over for dinner.


I really encourage you to take a trip over to look around the whole store - I promise when I say she makes all sorts I really mean it !

Jewel in L`Abels crown

To me Neferia Abel is one of the all time greats in SL. She can do no wrong when it comes to designing. So well known for vintage , she now has a modern store called L`Abel that shows of her talent even more.
Take Jewel for example -three very different pictures but all of one gown.
I tried to show this of in modern, classy and vintage styles so you can see just how easy Nefs designs can work for just about anyone in SL.

Peace On Earth

YES - the peace on earth hunt is happening again this year.

Last year when it was on there wasn't many grid hunts. Now there seems to be one running every week - sometimes a few running at the same time. So many folk seen how well this hunt worked and how much fun it was they tried to copy it.

Well the wait is almost over, you don't need the copy PEACE ON EARTH is almost arrived.

SPORK !

GM Nikolaidis is the owner/designer of SPORK and one of the most lovely sweet men you will ever meet in SL.
These Nova Jeans are one of my favourite things he has made.
They come in two colours but I am only showing one here ( go visit the store to see the other pair)
The leopard pattern in browns/golds adds warmth and when you are just running around SL as I was today , this is perfect to wear. Fashionable but comfy.

Look at the detail around the bottom. The care that has been put into the design is just perfect.

Even right down to the back pockets the designer touch continues.

Nip over to SPORK and look around, there is everything from formal to casual, jeans to sweaters.

More important it helps support an original designer in SL - something we all should be doing.

Don't Forget The Shoes We Already Have

I love shoes in both lives and have a big collection of all sorts and styles. The shoe expo is something of excitement for me for that reason, but still, we should never forget the amazing shoes already made, released and sitting waiting for us to find.
Like these 'Madonna' from Tesla.
At first when I bought these I thought of them as vintage shoes. I got them for that reason but the more I wear them I see they go with so much more.
Well made, bright clean colours and more important unique in style, you will get your wear out of them.
I buy shoes in fat packs but if you are not like that, then at least think about trying them in the black and white.
Its a colour choice that you can't really go wrong with .

Sweet Deal

~*~Felicia's Fashions~*~ is a store I never see covered on blogs and I just don't understand why.
Take this outfit for example. At only 150L the Madison comes with 2 sweaters, skirt and shoes.
All items are well made and personally I have seen things like these on there own in other places set for 150L alone so getting it all is a sweet deal!
The sweater looks cute with jeans and the skirt looks great many other tops I own, so for mix and match, this is spot on.
I have the the read set and the yellow set - but this comes in alot more colours.
It really is worth nipping over and taking a look around this store, it is one of those places you will be surprised at.

I Know Its Truble Again But....

As I was the one shouting for different skirt options then I should really show this of.
The skirt comes with 5 different looks . The short and long skirt comes with or without leaves and the mid is without.
When Tracy showed me this it was in the long skirt and I fell in love with the colours. Right away I could see me wearing this in real life with a nice jacket on an autumns day - but the skirt I seen myself in was mid length!.
She was planning the short so thought what the heck and made all 3 options.
This can be bought as a fat pack or just the skirt length you rather have - so its a win for everyone.

Trubble

My Little Geisha

This was the first dress Sevenstar made in SL and you can see right away she had a unique talent and style.
The dress has been updated and all the things she has learnt over her time has been added to this dress but the special look of that first dress remains and I for one am glad.
I love the extra touch of the headband - it shows attention to detail of the over all look that Sevenstar was making when she designed this.
I could write about the colours, material and go on and on about the geisha face but I hope the pictures show all this more than words ever could.

Who's in Trubble

This cute outfit is in the notices of **Trubble Designs** and worth joining to get.
Yes its 250L to join but I promise this group will give out far more than you ever paid to join.
I have known Tracy Rubble for a year now and watched her grow more and more as a designer and I must say I am impressed with her hard work and thought she puts into everything she does. The detail in this top shows that better than I could ever put into words.

We fuss so often over shoes and other things to match an outfit, yet we over look one of the biggest statements of all.

Lashes !

There has been a lot said about wearing lashes and complaints when bloggers don't wear them or fit them properly.
If you are like me, the fitting can be so hard at times its just not worth the hassle . That was until I got the Calla lashes as a gift.
They are stunning and so easy to fit.
Now I know I have said on plurk that Tigerlily fitted mine for me and she did, but as a test I tried to do it myself to and this is the result of first time ever fitting lashes.

I know they are not perfect but for a first I thought 'not to bad'.

One thing though - no demos, but really no need for a demo with these anyway.
