Spring Has Sprung

MudHoney has done it again with this fantastic Spring Gazebo. It is only 213 prims furnished and easy to rez then move to were you want it.The colours are soft but not girlie. It has a peaceful feel to it a for . Its good to find something that's perfect for a Valentines date yet can be used over and over all year round because there isn't a red and pink overload.
The lounger as poses 'couple time' and then casual poses when you just want to hang out with friends. Its also a cool place to just sit and chill on your own.

The chairs have a few sitting poses in them and with a drop down menu its easy to decide which one suits you best.

Prices are good at MudHoney, prims counts low and quality is at a very high standard. Worth paying a visit.

As You Never Seen Me Before !

The Briony mini dress from KHUSH comes in 5 colours, here's 2 of them. Its so sexy and comes in layers which makes it easy to play around with. For me it begged for a tattoo but it was so easy to put with legging and a jacket with big boots. Its so easy to look at things sometimes and dismiss it as 'not my style' but if you just stop long enough and give things a chance, sometimes you might be surprised just as I was with this.

Add That Finishing Touch With ~.::Beguiled::.~

~.::Beguiled::.~ is a joy to shop in! Cute funky and stylish, that's what I think of when I arrive there and look around. Most of all everything is affordable yet doesn't look cheap.
This Bakelite Smokey Bands set is a good example. Bakelite is better known as a vintage material to work with yet the curve of the hoop earrings are so modern.
Gita Rau deserves success with her store and I wish her the very best in this coming year.

Mixing Things Up

Liess Paine is the designer behind KHUSH, a place were I don't think folk would expect to find but that's were they would be wrong.
At first look this place felt like it wasn't my style but after a bit of fun playing around I found this look. Might not be your style but I was happy with it.I have been a little naughty with this post and put this as a set - the top and leggings are sold separately.
The leggings come in 9 different colours, the shirt comes in 6 different colours. I did use this shirt as a layer rather than on its own as the black parts would be skin and I'm not that brave to flash my boobs (even in SL) Its another thing I love about this store, things come in layers so you can create whatever look you want.

In Trubble Again..........

.........and I love every minute of it !
This is Erin a stylish cocktail dress designed by Tracy Rubble owner of Trubble. This dress shows how much better she has got in making flexi skirts, it moves beautifully when dancing.
It comes in a wide range of shades to suit any mood and taste. Sequin detail over the bodice adds a touch of glamour, the soft zebra panel running over the top bust and down around the waist brings this dress bang up to date in style. Tacy is working hard to keep getting better and better so worth keeping an eye on.

Trubble Takeove #7 - The final chapter

This is it. Beulah came in this morning and found me hiding behind the blogroll (not bogroll, blogroll) and turfed me out. Not before making me a lovely cuppa though.

She's told me she's changing the locks. But allowed me to show you an amazing store I found on the Shoes and Accessories hunt!

The store is called BabyMonkey and is owned by possibly the loveliest store owner I've met in a long time, Pixieplumb Flanagan.

I went back this morning to browse and was honoured to meet her in the store. She's friendly and puts her heart and soul into both her designs and her customer service.
Therefore I couldn't choose a better store to show you!

I got some shoes from her lucky chair whilst hunting yesterday and loved them from the second my toes hit them. They're called Sammie Shoe boots and I could really imagine wearing them in RL. The sock style inner makes them ideal for colder weather and gives me the chance to wear something other than boots.

I was wearing them when I dropped in today and Pixie kindly sent me the full version, which has not only the aqua options of the free shoes, but a menu that allows me to change the colours of every part of the boot.

She also sent me her silk ribbon flats. A pair of ballet shoes that come in a variety of different colours. They can be worn with or without the ribbons, but I think the bows are too cute to pass up. They're textured perfectly and remind me of the silk ballet slippers my RL daughter wears to class. Pure comfort and style in one.

I'll be keeping up with Babymonkey alongside other stores that I love, and new ones I find on my own blog Dial G for Girl.

We see every day pictures of stunning Av's in beautiful clothes but if it wasn't for the pose makers those pictures wouldn't look as good as they do.Yet, so often it is the pose makes that are over looked when reading over some blogs. With that in mind I decided to blog a set of poses.

Flutter Memel is the name behind the pose store {flowey}. this set is called 'Luxe Edition'.
The movement from pose to pose flows smoothly and the head stays in one place , handy when talking pictures. Flutter makes poses that are a little different from others and her sets are small so you don't get stuck with a large pack when you only want one.

Trubble Takeover #6 - Poetic Colors Eyes

Hey! I know it's been a little while since I sneaked in here, but Beu keeps remembering to lock up.

Nah, in all honesty I've been kicking my stores proverbial butt and getting some new stuff out there. Photoshop has taken such a bashing this past two weeks that it has reset itself, and now I have no presets, no brushes and no patterns. Guess it's time for that fresh start I keep thinking about.

Anyways, onto some prettiness.
I'm always hearing about new/new to me things in groups or on plurk and today I heard about an eye store named Poetic Colors. So being somewhere I hadn't heard of, and with my desperate need for new eyes (I've used the same ones since 2008, so I'm well overdue and update lol) I tp'd straight over to take a "peek".

The store is beautiful, even with the strange eyeballs dotted around the floor and boxed by the door, and every single eye design screams out to be tried from it's vendor. Every eye color is catered for, and there are plenty of styles but those I'll let you see for yourself.

I'm a blue eyes sorta girl, so I selected the Caribbean Sea Eyes in the brighteyes set. As you can see (picture 2) I made the perfect choice.
The eyes are so deep and sparkly I stared at them in awe for a good five minutes before I took the snapshot. The detail is astounding and so real that the eyes seem to catch the light every time they move. Tiny shading and lighting makes them look lifelike and filled with dewdrops.
The eyes were L$200 for 1 style and colour, and include small, medium and large sizes, so there's a size to fit all eye types that will look natural.
Fatpacks are also available that vary in price and include all of the colors in each set.

Picture 1 is a different eye, the Aurora Freebie which is available at the desk near the back of the store. As you can see, it is just as amazing in quality and realism as the full priced eyes, which for me is an instant confidence builder. The freebie only comes with the medium sized eye, and also eye lights for both eyes. The eye lights add a touch of extra light and sparkle, setting the eyes off amazingly.

Designer Lano Ling is an amazing artist and I'm so sad that I didn't find Poetic Colors before now, but rest assured I have joined the hippo group and I will be going back there!

Dressing With Style

The more I see things made by Rayvn Hynes (owner and designer of MudHoney), the more I understand why people get addicted to shopping for furniture in SL. The detail and care she puts into every little thing she makes is just amazing.Take this new set for example the 'Glam Dressing Room'.
You get everything shown in this picture below but it is only when you take a closer look you see just how well made it is.
The rack has details dresses hanging and shoes on the shelf. The dressing table has a details makeup set sat out to.

Lets Face The Music And Dance

A friend of mine was upset when she read a comment saying that if an items isn't blogged it means it sucks so this post is to prove that statement is very wrong.
This stunning dress is from DNCY and it is one I have not seen on the main feeds (either that of its been buried so much its been missed)
It is called Fleur and has some beautiful detail to it that might be missed at first glance. Look at the sleeve, it doesn't fall through the arm, I used this pose to make sure this was seen as it is a problem I have with some other pictures I have tried to take in the past
I had to try to show the detail in the flower on the waist and also the lace around the base of the skirt. Again this lace moves beautifully when walking or dancing. The skirt also looks great without the lace . This makes it more useful than just being a cocktail dress, it can be an everyday shopping outfit to.

The longer I am in SL the more I see the need for a place to sit and sort out note cards, IMs and inventory. This has been my place lately. I rezzed this chair when it was first given to me to blog. It has sat in the corner of my box for a while now and I find I go here more than my house to sit when I want alone time.

The textures are beautifully done and not over powering. It also has a pose balls script for the more romantic moments. The prim count is low as is everything at DB Designs.It is over sized but this is needed to create a comfy effect.

As you can see below it has a good chain to hang this and there is more if needed. The colours match the campfire cushions I showed a few blog posts back. This on a deck with the fire on the beach would be a lovely place to hangout with friends or that someone special. For me its a nice place to sit when I need 'me' time.

50L Friday - With A Twist

Neferia from Ivalde/L`Abel made 2 outfits this week for 50L Friday - one male one female.
Both of these are in a regency style.


I had to show of both of these to you as I just love how feminine the dress and how funky the male outfit is on us girls! I know not all of you like wearing dresses and might not pay a visit because you are expecting not to want anything on offer but that would be a shame. This jacket alone is worth the trip and looks fab over jeans.

Chill Out

We all need a place to sit and chill out and this is my place. This fire set from DB Designs has enough cushions for a few friends to sit with me and relax while chatting. The flame looks real and the colours uses are funky but not over powering. This would fit on most folks land as the prim count on this and all furniture from DB Designs is very low. When you get some time nip over and look around - I also seen a MM boards while I was visiting the store so remember to hit that as well.

Trubble Takeover #5 - and this time I'm giving it away.

Accessories Is The Key

I really believe good accessories can make even the most boring outfit look great. Take this hat, scarf and gloves set from AngelPup Design as an example.
I love tartan and I love red so this set was perfect for me. The hat worked with most hair styles and what I did like a lot was it worked well with a hair based skin.
The gloves are very different in the design and the colours are not to bright either which is good It even comes with some bangles to match .
This store has some unusual stuff in it and a lot is unisex.

For Any Weather

I am stuck at home with a cold so can't get to the local sales. I have been shopping online though and trying to find some things that will work in any season. To me that's the best type of bargain.
One top I did see (and bought) reminded me of this - Sienna from L`Abel.
It comes in beautiful colours, perfect for winter, easy to dress up but suits jeans as well. Won't look out of place in spring and even in a cool summer evening its still works.

What Can You Get For 50L ?

I thought I would start the new year of with one of my favourite outfits from my favourite store.
No surprises that This is from Ivalde - but what you will be surprised at is the price.
Marika comes as a complete set and is in the Ivalde discount store at just 50L . As you can see it comes in blue, brown, purple and black. What I love about this is the casual yet classy look of it. I do own something like this in RL and wear it a lot, I also wear this a lot when running around the grid.
Its the price that makes this a must have - I mean 50L what else can you get for that. So many are running around the event days to get a bargain but you only have to pop into Ivalde discount to get amazing bargains every day of the week.
