The shading on the body of this skin is beautiful. One thing that bugs be a lot on skins is shading on the back of the knees and the back of the hands - this skin has got it spot on. The stomach is toned but not over done.You get both cleavage options with each skin.

Above is a range of skin tones and makeups. Now here is the thing I love about Ryker - she gives BOTH brow options with each skin, many others make you buy one or the other. As if that isnt enough you also get a freckles option, I have shown this above. The blonde hair has the light brow and freckles, brown hair shows the dark brow and has no freckles. Each skin is 1000L each (remember the options you get with each skin). Packs of 5 skins -3000L ,the fatpack (10 skins) is JUST 5000L.

I fatpack Exodi skins a lot as the value is just amazing, I own as much of Rykers skins as I can afford, its the first folder I go to when looking to change my look.

OK now all that info has been done, take another look above at the makeups. Its the thing I adore most about this brand. The range in any fatpack always gives you a chance to make a wide range of 'looks. From natural, classic to modern. The 'crying' skin even has tears.

Best Skinny Jeans Ever

* RezIpsa Loc * has made the best skinny jeans I have seen so far.
They come in basic colours, animal print, flower & ribbon or brooch & ribbon. The detail is cute and looks great. The best part of the design in these is the sock layer. Many jeans come in a pant layer that fit well under boots but they never look right when wore as skinny jeans. These come with a sock layer to wear and that makes the jeans sit around the ankle just like RL skinny jeans do. I haven't seen this with any other jeans around SL and never seen it on blogs either.
The store itself is cute thought it doesn't have a lot of stuff , what they do have is cheap, well made and adorable.

Daisyblue Hefferman you will be missed.....

Daisyblue Heffernan passed away on the 27th May 2010.
Daisyblue Heffernan gave more to SL than many will ever know. She was part of a small number of bloggers that opened our minds to fashion that we might not have seen. She was my first contact with the whole blogging world and help open my eyes to so much more in SL. I met her at Ivalde, a store she was at often. A joy to chat with, full of interesting ideas and encouraged me to explore SL in a way no one else had done up until that point.

A builder, blogger, librarian, educator, Daisy had many many talents and thanks to her we have a richer SL life.

Neferia Abel will be making a dress in memory of Daisyblue once she can get into SL (connection problems). I will blog this dress as soon as it is in world.

Clio Makes Me Smile

Sonya from Clio comes in 6 wonderful colours , let me show you 2 of them. The movement in this skirt is to die for. Perfect for dancing. As with anything Clio makes, its the colour mix that makes this dress stand out from the crowd, though this is rather tame for her. The soft pink flower detail coming over one shoulder, along the edge of the skirt and on the gloves turns a pretty designed dress into something stunning. The stockings comes with the dress.

With a little bit of playing around, Sonya could have so many looks to it, not just a cocktail dress.

Can She Read My Mind ?

New release from Exodi

I was looking for shorts like this a few days ago but just couldn't find any I liked. As if reading my mind Ryker comes up with the goods in the form of these 'Denim Frayed Lounge Shorts' .They hug the hips yet don't look like they are about to fall of (like some had been I seen). The detail around the pockets shows the care taken with these. Frayed at the hem enough for that lived in look. They come in 8 colours.

The Imani Tee, also from Exodi, is a perfect match with the shorts. The cute motif sweeps across the front in such a delicate way. The bow at the side gives a nice touch of detail. Again you can see the care taken in making this.

I have on the new Dael skin soon to be released and something I will show more of, right now I just don't want to take it of.

Just Fatpack !

This beautiful Wrap Dress from Stellar is worth getting in a fatpack. As a solid colour is so sweet. Easy to dress up for any event you are going to but change to flats and its a cute summer dress to run around in. My main reason to say 'just fatpack' is the options to mix things up. For example, what about wearing the red skirt with the black top or the green waist band with the red dress. Like I say, options ! This dress also comes in layers to make it easier to wear tattoos, stockings etc...

These poses made me miss living by the coast. I have lived most of my life by the water and wish I was there again. I like things that make me explore SL more and this had me TPing all over to find some waves.

Feeling Horny

Have you ever seen something and thought WOW. Then thought, how can I wear this ? That's how I feel with things Ruina Kessel makes. Now it isn't that I don't like them, I LOVE her designs but I feel a little nervous on how I can wear them. After all I am more a vintage girl at heart. Ruin dropped a few things on me to have fun with and see what I would do with them.

We had a new Victorian gown at Ivalde and I was wearing it when I put on the horns and then thought OMG I love this look. so I wore it all day and the next day.

HAITI

Project Tents HAITI Benefit Expo opens 10am SLT on May 21st

Over four months ago a devastating 7.0 earthquake hit the country of Haiti just outside the capital of Port-au-Prince. Four months seems like a lifetime ago, so many other natural occurrences have impacted citizens of the world since then, but the work in Haiti has only just begun. The May 24th issue of Time Magazine reports concerns that living conditions in Haiti are getting worse with the storm season now upon the region. Hundreds of thousands of Haitians still are without any permanent shelter, their only protection from the elements are makeshift tents created from materials found in the rubble. Without a solid base to these structures, many Haitians go to sleep at night in extremely damp surroundings sometime unable to escape pools of water left by the torrential rains. Relief organizations are working as fast as they can to provide permanent shelter - play your part and visit the event. Donate at any of the collection points and/or buy charity items.

Look Into My Eyes

Ryker Beck is amazing ! Why ? just look at these eyes.

From top left they are called stitched, jaundice, bloodshot and blind. The inspire creative looks and pictures. They made me step out of my comfort zone and think of how to wear them. Got It Nailed

Prim nails are something I never really bothered with. Tried them once, hated it and never tried again. That was until I got these dropped on me from Page 3.

First of all I found them so easy to put on, just pick the right hand size and wear. Then when I put on the HUD it was so very simple to use. From changing the nail colour to the rings. You can wear any of the 3 sets with or without the rings, or you can pick to wear just one ring and not the others. It is all up to you. Depending on the style of rings you like best, you can change the stone colour as well.

The sets are called ACTIVE, LONG, ATTITUDE and cost between 350L - 450L all depending on the style you want. After checking around I know this is a very low price for something that is made so well.

Neferia (Ivalde) releases so often it is hard to keep up without having repeating posts about the one store. LuLu was releases a short time ago. A beautiful full length 70s maxi dress in soft summer colours. The shoulder straps criss cross at the front, then wrapping around the bodice in sparkling sequins. A touch of elegance. I love maxi dresses in RL as well as SL.They are so easy to dress up for an evening out or with flats and hair tied back to create a more casual look.
