More Halloween Fun

The pose above is from HopScotch. The set has a few pumpkins and poses so you can play around with it a bit to make loads of pictures.

This lot is from !BANG. The sack with my head stuck in is a freebie, so is the nut I have in my mouth. The other sack isn't free but so cheap it is worth getting and it can have you and 2 friends posing together. The poses are just a sample from the pack. This has  male/female options so works for everyone.

Happy Halloween

This is a holiday time I really do not like but I have found some fun things in SL I wanted to share with you.

I hate spiders but this intrigued me. The detail is amazing. I might just keep this out all year round as a thing of interest. This furniture in thisstore is really well made. Funky modern, retro etc... you can find all sorts here.
Get it at C&D Designs   http://slurl.com/secondlife/Aurora%20Vale/209/90/38

This 'Joke-a-Lantern made me giggle. It has a few sitting places as well as this pitchfork setting. It also tells jokes, you know the corney type that you just can't help but laugh at.I love the style of this store, the furniture is beautiful.
Find this at Clutter http://slurl.com/secondlife/Wind%20River%20Territory/70/39/22

I went a little bit batty over this (sad joke I know but had to be said).
These are from !BANG a brilliant pose store worth the visit.

All of these stores have a lot more Halloween stuff out so worth  a visit if you are planning a party tonight and need to decorate.
I hope you all have fun.

A + For A-BOMB

Shoes rock my world every time. It is my passion on RL and SL. I found A-BOMB from the Hump Day Happiness event and so glad I did. They make great shoes at a price we all can afford. Rather than having to try and pick only one colour A-BOMB make the fatpack affordable. Take Lavea as an example. Made in either leopard or glitter finish, it offers a good range of colours. If you buy 1 colour it cost 200L but if you buy all the colours it is only 600L. The fatpack comes in the shape of colour change shoes that works with a HUD. This helps save on the inventory count, something many of us will be glad to hear.

Some folk have snow already, I just have frost but it made me grab my boots in RL and in SL. These are from Stellar and makes me feel like my feet are all snugly and warm. Juneau Boots come in a wide range of coloursto suit everyone, from the pink princess to the dark and moody. They are a nice change to Ugh boots with the knitted textures and buckles.

BITE ME !

I hate Halloween. Sorry but I had to tell you that. You will not see much from me this week unless it made me smirk or I think it s totally brilliant.
Patchwork Human from HopScotch  is brilliant! I had fun running around graveyards in SL today taking pictures and joking around with folk on the sims. You get everything shown, even the shape is provided. Bits of skin has been stitched together, strands of hair in all colours and 2 different eye colours. It even has a mouth grid so it looks like that has been stitched. So for those partying this weekend drop in on HopScotch and pick this up. They have a male version on sale so bring you partner shopping.

Would You Adam N Eve It.

Lipstick Tattoo

Eye make-up tattoo

Skin colour tattoo

For those who have no idea what the title is on about, it is an old Cockney (English) way of saying, 'would you believe it.
Now back to the reason I am writing here. I know the tattoo layers are all over the place. Some are better than others and some work with different skins, others only work with the skin maker  you bought them from.
It was for that reason I avoiding  blogging anything like this until now. I wanted to see how much I would use them after the novelty started to wear off. If anything I am using these more and more and loving it. I am always slow to embrace change, I find it hard in SL and RL.
The examples above are from Adam N Eve and I have had them a while now. I found I used them a lot with a skin from the store and also with other brands. It helps to create a wonder new look and stops us all  being the same. From lipstick to lashes to eye makeup, even to colour  the whole skin, Adam N Even provide it all at the make up counter in the store. You can find it in the skin room. I do love how creative they got in the display of it all.
Nip over to Adam N Eve, it can be easy to forget the older stores in SL but they are still as amazing as  ever. Designing, creating and trustworthy.

Oh Mandy !

Purplemoon  is store blogging brought to me. I had seen  the designs on feeds and flickr but never really wore many of the clothes.  I have always liked the styles but as I work for a fashion store I mostly dress in clothes from that store only. Blogging has changed all that  and its a great thing.
Mandy is a beautiful, stylish and  classy. Something warm for winter  but still sexy. The collar hugs the shoulders, the rose and feather detail add the glamorous touch. The shape of the sculpted skirt  cuts short to make this oh so sexy.  The textures have been beautifully done. This store is perfect for a day when you might feel frumpy in RL, we might not all want to admit it but SL does change how we feel. Feel sexy today.

Lulu From MINA

Cute hair isn't it !I was poking around and found it in my inventory. It is called Lulu and from Mina. It comes in a massive range of colours. Worth trying a demo and seeing what you think.
Oh and please don't try to find this cardigan, it is an old Ivalde Christmas gift. I  know some  had looked for the last one I wore when showing hair. Remember, I only really worry about showing One Thing At A Time!

Wedding Anyone ?

I am not one of those fluffy type of girls. I think of pink and I want to puke. While playing around with a halloween wedding look I thought I would do  all 4 colours of this  gown and see what i came up with. This is it.

The Galine  is from Ivalde. It comes with all 4 skirt options and veil to match. Makes it rather sweet as you can get married in it and then wear it again and again. The price is very low compared to most other wedding dresses in SL.
Some don't know Neferia has made wedding dresses and will add to the collection as demand grows. So if you have any ideas it would be worth making note.

Let The Real Drama Begin

Plurk has been full of drama and I never even seen the half of it. I came into SL to hide from it all and found this dress in my inventory. Now this is what I call real drama.
Gator, from Purplemoon, is a statement piece. This isn't something you go shopping in but for those trying out for modeling jobs this has to rock. The neck piece comes with or without the collar. I kept the collar on, after all if you going to be dramatic you cant stop half way. This dress says alot about why I love SL, we get to wear things that are only for catwalks in RL .
Oh and by the way, the hair is from Purplemoon. They have loads more styles and colours.

In A Mood !

This set has to be one of the most beautiful things I have ever owned in SL. The prim work is out of this world and the detail  is just down right breathtaking. I was worried about blogging it only because I scared I could never show something this good and do it justice.
Diamante *D* Ensemble is from alaMood Boutique. Jori Watler used to make shoes and was pretty good at it but my word does she rock at making jewelry.
The ring goes on the left or right hand  and the choker fits to either the chest or spine. The headpiece fits to either the chin, mouth or nose. All so practical as well as beautiful.
The head piece inspired me to  go all vintage with it, I even went dancing.
I have been watching Jori Watler's work for a while now and I see such a change in it. She is a perfections, she refuses to have anything less.

HUSH!

Thats right I told you all to Hush, you need to stop and look at this sexy little dress from SySy's called Hush.I love colour and I love it being mixed up. This dress suits me on all levels. Figure hugging to show curves, perfect seems, 3 button detail on the front with one strap sweeping over the right shoulder. SySy  has done wonders with this, taking colours that dont normally get put together.
I have never made a secret of how much I adore SySy Chapman, not just as a top designer but also as a true friend and amazing person.

More From Dark Mouse

Baroque copper
Silver & Gold

Marissa Silver
Copper & Gold

Dark Mouse is an amazing store full of styles that suit everyone. I love how everything is offered in different metal finishes. At times silver is to white and gold to bright, copper works just perfect. Makes things easier when trying to create an overall style. The detail and work that goes into jewelry just blows me away. Take a picture as close as you like and still every little thing is perfect.  Get over to the jewelry fair, there are great things to be found there.

Dark Mouse

A great set of pearls is important to any vintage girl. It is something that can be harder to find in SL than you would think. I have never really found a set I liked well enough to call on often  and I wear vintage more than anything else.
Dark Mouse has brought out a set of 50s pearls and I am in love. This is what I have been looking for, simple pearls, double strand and classy.

50s Pearls with diamonds (above) gives that little extra sparkle. The metal comes in copper, gold or silver. Again, simple and classy.
Dark Mouse has a ton of things make in the same vein. Classy, elegant and tasteful. Bit like the designer.

Puarangi Designs

Scrollwork Butterfly Set

The Evangeline Set with attachment points for both left and right
Dagger Necklace and Earring Set

The Carmelita Set of Necklace and two pair of earrings

square gems bracelets - for both left and right
Sometimes we take SL for granted. We expect high standard without thinking of the time and effort the designer takes on each item. Maybe it was the still of the night when I couldn't sleep and decided to  take some blog pictures, but stopped and looked at things in a fresh way. Scroll back over each picture and take a look at the prim work on each piece. The detail, how creative, beautiful and perfectly made each item is.Never take this for granted. Hibiscus Flossberg and people like her have amazing talent. The Jewelry Fair is full of stunning pieces, make sure you stop  at Puarangi Designs when you are there.
