52 Week Colour Challenge - Week 8 - Green

I am so late doing this and I never got to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. Between a busy family time and now a heavy cold  it has been hard to think straight. 
As soon as I seen it was green this week I knew I wanted to wear this gown with this headpiece. 
The gown is Retropolitan from Ivalde, a stunning 40s style with all the glamour from that era. You really should take time to wander around Ivalde, it is a store full of treasure.
The headpiece is Tori from Elegance Hats. Sadly this store is closed now , I miss it and I miss the designer. The Jewelry is from MOOD , I blogged about it a short time ago, I will use every chance I get to wear this set.
I really must go get some more rest now.

Who Wants To Unwrap Me ?

Sora is from Purplemoon. It is a fun,funky dress, perfect for the party season. It also comes in white, brown and purple as well as the 4 colours below. The top reminded me of tinsel, it comes in 2 attachments so it moves easily. I will be wearing this at Christmas/ New Year parties. After, when you have danced the night away and laughed 'til you cried with friends, Take the 'tinsel' part of and it reveals a beautiful bodice, fabulous leggings and cool  fingerless gloves. All items that mix so well with many other things all year long. Then,who knows, maybe bring Sora out again to play.

Something New To Me

 I came across this in my inventory from a store called Amanda's Fasion. I had never been to the store so I had to TP over. This outfit  is a great example of the things you will find. At 150L I think it is a bargain as it comes with the sweater and leggings in 3 colour prints. The belt on the sweater has great detail, shading is in all the right areas. The print on the leggings didn't over stretch as I moved in them either. This is a perfect mix and match item to own.

52 Week Colour Challenge - Week 7 - Cerise

It nearly killed me but I did it, a pink blog post. I did have fun  searching my inventory for this stuff, it reminded me of how many cool things I own. I am not naturally girlie, I used to never wear pink in RL. A few things have crept in as SL has softened me to pink. So thank you Luna for this challenge, it opened my eyes.

NYC shirt dress from Adam N Eve comes in 7 colours,I am wearing it with that San belt which is also  from Adam N Eve. Now some of you might think 'oh cute dress' while others will think 'I would never wear dresses like  that'. Stop and look more as this style is something we all should have in our inventory. It is perfect over leggings/pants/jeans or more formal tucked in a skirt. It is one of those things you can never go wrong with and an item you will wear over and over again. Go over and look at the colours on offer and if you are not sure which to get just grab the white.

52 Week Colour Challenge - Week 6 - Yellow

Remember my goldenrod post a few weeks back ? When I was worried it was to yellow, well I think my yellow post has gone a bit goldenrod on me lol. Never mind, I am having fun with this each challenge so I will keep at it.
I have gone for one of my all time favourite stores this week, Sways. Sway Dench makes the best stuff, from cookie bears to furniture, clothes to  poses and a billion things more besides. I got these cute Pajama's at one of her stores on the SwayLand sim. The slippers is part of the set. She has made a ton of colours and they suit male and female. Really cheap as well so worth getting for a bit of fun.
The hair is from Exile, called Pipa - they make some really cute styles and the textures are nicely done.
The Huggle Giraffe is from HopScotch, this is the Christmas edition but you can get one without the hat on it at the store. The post is in the thing so it is easy to use.
The skin and yellow eyes are from Exodi, always a firm favourite for me.

Little Bit Of KHUSH

ACCEPT TATTOO - we accept the love we think we deserve.

I love this store with its wide range of designs, colours and  styles. Casual, dressy, tarty, sexy - whatever you want you will find it at KHUSH. Everything can be layered with other stuff and the tattoos are soft and easy to wear. This is just a small hint of the massive amount I own. Really is a place worth visiting.

Ready To Party

So everyone is having parties for Christmas and it is nice to get dressed up. Elusyve from  MIAO could well be the perfect dress for the season. Now to try and find the words to tell you how amazing this dress is, or I could just direct you to the pictures and let you see for yourself.  Wide range of colours, beautiful  shading in all the right places.The detail on the  high waistband adds a touch of flare. I adore the gold work, it bring glamour and style to what is already a stunning dress. Just looking at this I wondered if these would be a nice bridesmaid dress. Now, don't think I have lost the plot girls. Stop and think of a classy wedding, and image a few of these dresses lined up in the pictures, don't you think it would look good.

Boots Baby!

When I seen Jackal Ennui talk about making a new boots on plurk I was so happy. The Lassitude & Ennui Thecla boots  are 100% original sculpts and in 6 rich colours.The detail and texture is beautiful, from the gold buttons to the cute heel. I am so glad Jackal is back releasing, this has been a long time favourite store and one I have shopped at as much as I could afford (fatpacks are the way to go at this place)

52 Week Colour Challenge - Week 5 Sepia

As soon as I seen the colour for this week I knew what I was going to use. Arnaude  is a beautiful Victorian gown from Ivalde. When the skirt moves the print around the bottom shows more and I love it. Perfect shading and detail, this gown is a dream to dance in. Good for visiting role play sims as well as nights out.

Candy Anyone ?

Candy Clogs from Shiny Things are the  new must have. They come in 12 colours so there is something to suit everyone. The great thing is they are made to suit any viewer  so no one is left out. They have been put into  fat packs of 6 -  neutrals and brights.   I screamed with delight when I got the note card about these being released. I just knew they would be brilliant without having to demo though demos are available. The pictures below  are just to give an idea of the colours but this is only half of them so you really do need to visit the store. For some newer folk to SL that never hear of Shiny Things all I can say is 'OMG you have been  missing out so much'.
