GoGo posted a picture of a fairy on plurk and I thought I have to have that so I went looking. I didn't have to go far as amazing work like this had to be from Evie's Closet. Eden comes in 5 colours, took me time to work out which I wanted. The wings,cap,slippers and socks are all included. The Adam N Eve eye make-up turned an everyday skin into something more fun. 
This blog post should have been done hours ago but I ended up playing around different sims. I love it when an outfit inspires me to explore.  Evie - I love you girl !

52 Week Colour Challenge - Week 17 - Electric Lime

The weeks I want to scream with the colour end up being the weeks I have most fun. This was one of those weeks. Electric lime, I mean really, even when I found lime in my inventory there was nothing electric about it.  I screamed on plurk about it and then these 2 tops got dropped on me. The undershirt is from Moonshine and the other is from KHUSH. I hoped I was lucky enough for one to work but when I put them on it seemed perfect together. That was the start of it all. The rest just fell together. 
I had bought the Jewelry from MOOD as it is a special for just 75L and I knew I couldn't go wrong with it. Then a visit to HUZ TATS was in order, I knew I would find something more OTT there. Skin is Mango Mango, I do love that store. Hair from Truth as I knew I could get the colour thing going on. Kicks are from Kari - had these for ages, is that store still around? I must go look soon. Shorts are from CKS Designs, I found these on marketplace and for 55L they are a bargain so I will have to check the store out in world. The glasses were an old hunt gift from Schadenfreude but they have so many wacky cool stuff it is worth checking them out. Poses by Sway as she makes some wicked fun ones.
Think I have rambled enough now, so tell me, what do you think ? did I get the look ok ?

Cheeky Pea

I have a new love and it is called Cheeky Pea. I have seen bits and pieces from this store and liked them. It was only when I went to visit I really feel in love. The designs are imaginative. Many of the textures have colour options. The clock in the picture below works. When sitting you get to decide if you want couples, friends or singles. Coffee has steam, lights go on and off. Fixing poses to fit is easy. 
This is my skybox and how I have it set out (so far). I am at Cheeky Pea at the minute so I might have to buy a few more things. If you want an SL home that is relaxing for you, good to hangout with with friends and can be romantic all at the same time - go visit Cheeky Pea. The furniture there fits all occasions.

52 Week Colour Challenge - Week 16 - Teal

With RL stuff I hadn't even got a chance to think about my teal post let alone do it. I signed in last night to start looking and as I know I own a ton of teal things (<3 teal). Within minutes Neferia dropped a new release in the staff group  before putting it out in the store. At that point I had to stop what I was doing and dress for work. As I opened the stuff this teal dress came out. I always fall in love with each new release. 
Erma is a sweet romantic 1970s dress. it comes in Teal, beige, white and purple. Great for spring in SL.

Meet Zoe

Yes this has been blogged by many others, unlike many others I will not be blogging the skin fair. Let me share the link to a blog I am following about it though http://slstyledirectory.com/. 
This skin was my big want - Tuli never gets it wrong. Different things are important to different people when it comes to buying a skin. No matter how close you inspect a skin you will find this beautiful. 
This tone is fair but it also comes in pale, sunkissed and tan.  You are really best to get a fat pack with this, you get so much. 6 skins, each with different eye make-ups. 12 lip shades. 8 brow colours. Black and Blue lashes tattoo's. 2 levels of freckle options. Boost or subtle cleavage options. You also get the Zoe shape that you can mod to make it your own. You do need to be on  a 2.0 viewer but I think most (if not all ) of us are on that in some way now. I could go on about shading etc.., but Tuli doesn't need anyone to talk up her work,  it is perfection.

Milkshake !

My Milk Shake from Fierce is something I would never dare to put on in RL even for a fancy dress party. In SL however, anything goes. The detailing is nice without being over done. Stockings come with it but could be used for other stuff. For those who would be shy in RL as I am, step out a little and try something new. Who knows you may become a burlesque dancer in SL!
My Milkshake comes in 4 colours but I wanted the red so I could play on this pose stand. It is from POSEUR and something you will see me using more often .

Bloggers We Love Week

I admire many bloggers, a few are my friends. They have given a lot of their time and money to show the rest of us what is available. It is also a great service to the designers when they get their work shown.  

For me the one I look up to is  Sasy  Scarborough. Long before we became friends this was a blogger I followed. She has class and grace. Never runs after the 'must have' items yet is always in fashion. Gives time and blogging space to some of the older designers that seem to get forgotten and is willing to  work with newer designers to help.

Sasy has give a lot of her time to SL.She has been a help to us all even if we don't know it, yet she stays forever humble, friendly and full of fun. By now you will be thinking I am 'fangirling'. I am not, I do not fall for that SL celebrity thing. We are all only pixels after all. I do and respect and admire her though, the RL person must be a blessing to know.

So for me this was an honour to take this picture and have a chance to say Thank You Sasy for everything.

It Is No Mystery

I adore PurpleMoon. Everything is so elegant and classic. Mystery comes in 5 colours so if purple isn't your thing that's ok. This use of lace and feathers is a stunning mix if textures. Something I find with every dress/gown I wear from this store is the movement.  Poulet has nailed this in SL with everything she touches

Different Kind Of Cross Stitch

52 Week Colour Challenge - Week 14 - Black

While trying to work out what to blog this week I started trying on skins. Then I came to my Mango Mango folder and everything started from that. I love the skins from this store, they are so different. To add that little extra touch I used one of the new tattoo layers from Adam N Eve, makes a big difference on detail around the eyes. The shoes are from Adam N Eve and only 50L. Next I came across this cute dress from Absolution. It comes in a range of colours, really worth taking a look at. The leggings are from [croire] and so wicked. These come in  a ton of colours and the sheer print can really make an outfit. Now I needed a  wicked hair style to finish  this off and to me this one from Boon was just perfect. The earrings are from MOOD, I have been refusing to take this style off for a few days now and I will continue to do so for a while I think. Eyes are from Exodi, I wear this brand alot.
Dressed like this made me want to TP around SL and find a place that suited the outfit.I ended up at Black Pearl Beach. The padded cell is in the big haunted house, 3rd floor.Many thought it was a fitting place for me to be!

Why I Love The Originals Fair

Everyone needs to visit this event.You will find brilliant stores while walking around this beautifully built sim. I am only posting a few things  so you will have to go over yourself. Every store in this fair makes their own stuff, hand drawn and shaped. Now I know that there are many many stores all over the grid that dot he same and not in this fair. What I have found useful is to take time to look and learn from this event so I  know what I am buying all year round. At a time when copybotting is rife, taking time to learn is always a good thing.

52 Week Colour Challenge - Week 13 - Emerald

Yes I am late and I know I am late but RL took over big time. Had this picture sitting for ages and wanted to do so much more with it. Anyway I just had to show you this skirt for my Emerald post. It is from Vanitas Vesture  and called Alchemist. Sarah has taken great time over the shading and detail, everything lines up perfectly. For special pieces this store is brilliant, it is more classic rather than high fashion. Means you can wear stuff after a few weeks and not look old. It also gave me a good reason to wear the new L`Abel top again. I am addicted to wearing Adria . The skin is an old St.Patricks gift from Exodi and the necklace is from Flirt. Flirt is now closed and it makes me so sad that many new folk will never share the delight of owning things from this store.

Somnia, Soft N Sexy

I really love Somnia, it is a great store and one I must remember more often. Good honest work deserves rewarded with loads of customers. The DippinDots top comes in 8 colours, the cords and sweater comes in 12 colours. I felt like red today but these are all easy to mix up. Everything comes in layers (even tattoo layers) making it so easy to go wild if you want to.

Just Had To Have

So the fuss has died down, bloggers have reviewed the boots and the folk who run to by the 'must have' things have all  been shopping. No one can deny that the Curvaceous Boots from GOS are amazing. The style, design and colours are stunning but are they worth the cost. I am one of those people who stand back and see if things are just a fashion fad or worth buying. I don't have a lot to spend in SL so I am as careful here as I am in RL with money.  Every time I seen these I drooled so I went over to demo. OMG they are amazing, and such a bargain for the fatpack. With all the colours options, 3 heel options,leather or suede finish, metal  options and even the buttons change colour. These boots will last for ages (in SL terms). One tip worth doing, all GOS group members get 10% discount when shopping at the store if they wear the group tag. It is 50L to join but I got 299L refund can on these boots so you still save 249L.
