One of my very favourite stores in SL has always been Ivalde. 

Cyntia comes in 6 stunning colours. The lace is amazing and the belt around the waist gives a touch of extra detail. The sim has been rebuilt and brings a lovely touch of Norway into SL. Worth a visit.

...And The Living Is Easy.

Ayla is kinda new to the SL designing scene but is taking it by storm. She is a stickler for detail, seams matching and hand drawing her textures. All things that make a great designer.
Misty was released a short time back and comes in 6 colours (2 shown above). I like options, think we all do. This dress comes in layers and offers 2 skirts, easy enough to wear as a long top over leggings. Is that enough options for you and all from one little dress.

It's Not Just Good Friday It's A Great Friday

Blossom gown from Adam n Eve

Why is it so great, I have a new skin and it is stunning. The skin is from Adam N Eve and called Paige. Sachi just keeps hitting out amazing skins. Below is the base skin you get in a pack, as you can see you get the cleavage option. Shading on this skin is perfect, for hand drawn it is amazing how she created this.

 Then comes the make-ups, a range of lip and eye colours are provided. I love how we can create our own looks with skins now. All eyebrow colours, nails polish for hands/feet and cheek blush  are included. I must learn how to use the new LL viewer so I can stack the tattoos and get more out of this skin.
I am wearing the 'Natural' tone but if this isn't your shade just nip over and demo until you find the one that suits you.

52 Week Colour Challenge - Week 24 Eggplant

Eggplant was the colour this week, so I had to go shopping. I cheated on the last one and used something I already owned and  the point of my doing this challenge was to get out and find new places.
This cute dress was only 50L. I bought it so I could see just what the designs were really like and I have to say I am impressed. The store is new to me but I will get back to it. They so many things I  loved.
Everything else was worked around this dress.
Once I got the picture I took some time to hangout.

52 Week Colour Challenge - Week 23 - Asparagus

I know I am behind on these but I will catch up. I also cheated on the colour. The pantsuit is from a favourite store L`Abel for this challenge. Everything else just fell into place .

Meet Sarah From Tuli

Tuli is a brand  you never need to write up, it speaks for itself. So let me give you the main info on Sarah and then you can go demo and see which shade suits you best. 

Tuli has made 'series' in skin tones. Pale, Fair, Sunkissed, Tan, Bronze and Mocha are the basics. Pearl, Powder, Petal and Peach have enhanced pink hues.The skin tone I used most for this was fair. When you  decide which tone suits and buy the fatpack you will see 6 skins, each with different eye make-up. The main skin brow is dark brown but you get others in a tattoo  (light brow, light blond and dark blond). You also get 2 lots of cleavage options, freckles, 3 colours for lashes and 12 lip colours. A shape is provided, worth keeping even if you are happy with the shape you have right now.

52 Week Colour Challenge - Week 22 - Banana

Well the colour is Banana so what else did you expect me to do but find a banana in SL and take a picture.
This top is rather cute, it does come in layers and the jacket one is longer but I wanted to show off my banana pants.

Same Damn Thing

Achariya has stopped blogging, she will be missed. Over at It's Only Fashion the decided to bring back one of  Achariya's blogger challenges  called Same Damn Thing Challenge.  The Oxford Shirt from Shadenfreude was picked and so this is my take on this challenge. 
I bought the shirt in teal as I love the colour and will get a chance to wear it time and time again. I like the way  the shirt layered up with the Marcia set from Sn@tch.  It comes with 7 pants and 3 tops. For me these items are worth  having. Everything will mix, layer and work with so many other stuff.

Project Fur

Project Fur opens tomorrow. We have all heard about the terrible events in Japan and done whatever we can to help the people there. This event is for the animals. Owners died, family split, animals hurt. I am so glad  that while charities are helping people the  pets have not been forgotten.

Why do I feel so strongly about this - let me explain. I have a rescue dog called Taylor and she is my world. I was recovering from what was the worst events ever in my life when I got her. Even though she was only 10 weeks old she had already had a terrible life. Her love healed my heart,I was able to give her a happy safe home. It is good we can help raise money to rescue these animals and maybe then other hearts can be healed.

52 Week Colour Challenge - Week 21 - White

It wasn't so much the colour this week, more what I wanted to use for it. I nearly did a wedding gown just for the hell of it lol.
Then I came across this sexy little dress from LiNe called Nova. I liked it but it was also more naught than what people expect me to wear ,that meant I had to do it. I thought the fishnet tights from Blowpop would work with the net in the dress. The tights are more expensive than other on the grid but these are one of the hardest things to make and get the ankle right, so worth paying for. The hair is from  elikatira , I adore all the hair from this store. The skin was an easy one to find, Mango Mango does the best vamp skin. The pose of from fri.day.
