I love this cottage (the sweetness coastal home), I love SPRY (the store it is from) and I love Stacie Pryor (the creator). This is my last blog post so I thought I would share something very special from a person that has inspired me over my years in SL. From her blogging to creating, more so the kind sweet person that she is.

Today for me was a sad day. I did something I swore I never would again. I cried over things that happened on plurk but was SL related. For me that gave me the answer I have been looking for. I have been searching for direction for a while now. Wanting a new challenge but longing for the fun to come back. In the middle of all the nasty stuff I found answers.
I wont be blogging anymore but I am helping set up a Vintage Fair (http://vintagefair.wordpress.com/). Vintage is something close to my heart in SL and RL. This is an event I have wanted for over a year and now I have found someone to help me get it happening.
Writing this is harder than I thought but I know it is the right thing to do so ....

Want Something Special ?

Do you ever feel like everyone has the same thing at times. So many of us shop at 'sale days' we can feel we all own the same stuff and nothing is unique. Now don't get me wrong I love the ' sale day events', Moody Monday is my favourite. Just at times I wish I owned something that was just mine.
Let me share with you what I will be going to tomorrow. It is an event called B.UNIQUE. This is a little different to many other events that are happening. Only a small amount of these items are going to be sold. They will be out at full price, unique is worth paying for. Tomorrow on the 1st September everything is put out, then on the 22nd September everything is taken down, never to be sold again. Only a few of these will ever be owned in SL, so either they sell out before the 22nd or are taken down on that date.
Below I am going to share the vendor pictures, I can not show you the items, these are not given out to bloggers and will not be out to buy until tomorrow. Maybe I will see you over at B. UNIQUE.

I love to change my skins often and wear many different tones. That is one of the fun things in SL for me. Adam n Eve have just released a new skin called Jamila. It comes in 4 tones, I am showing you 2 so you get an idea of what is on offer. There is a shade lighter and one in between as well. The shading and detail is just stunning, as expected from Sachi. She has been brave to make such dark tones, not many stores offer them. Sachi is a true artist.

It feels like forever from my last blog post, at one point I wondered if I would ever blog again. I have been trying to learn the viewer 2 set-up. Yes I know I am late to the party but I just hate change so much. Anyway I decided I needed to get out and explore while I tried to work the thing out.
As soon as I arrived on this sim I remembered a gown I had from Kouse Sanctum called Gabrielle. It comes in 8 unbelievably stunning colours, each with golden gilt trimming. How could I not want to blog when I am wearing something this beautiful. TP over and see what colour you are going to get.

For me hunts are all about finding new places and being reminded of great stores. That is why you need to do the Platinum Hunt that starts tomorrow.

This gift from Baffle in the Platinum hunt id just brilliant. It has poses built in and you can also change the pictures to more personal ones of you wish. The light gives a nice feel which makes this a fun thing to either have in a garden or in your home. Do you see the mouse ? cute detail like that makes this gift a win. Even if you do not have land still get this. I remember not keeping gifts before I have my own space, I regret that now.

This dress is the BOMB.It is from Sn@tch, a store around in SL for such a long time and a good one to remember to visit often. Ivey brings out new things faster than most. Primrose Path comes in blue, pink and yellow, stockings come with it as well. Adorable outfit to wear over and over.

This is how I feel at some part of most days. Plurk is going nuts with the riots in England. Different people have different thoughts depending on background and upbringing. You have to run over today and get these cardigans from L`Abel. 55L for both, but it is only for today. There are other colours set for full price in the store. When I am just running around SL shopping or dressing a house to blog (as I was today), this is what I wear often.

Stepford Wife ?

I have been out playing again and found another sim I have never been to. It is called Stepford and so pretty to walk around. I had to find a place that was fitting to wear the goodies from Hatpins. We never wear enough hats in SL. Though when folk do it can be hard to get hair that fits with it. Reghan has sorted that problem out and made hair with these hats. I have the blond and it offers 5 shades.

Louisa is colourful with the big flower surrounded with so much detail it must have taken forever to make.
Florence has a coloured ribbon trim with a sweet bow detail to the side.
In the last picture here I have earrings on. They just help add to the overall vintage feel. Left is the Deco Earrings - yellow tourmaline, the right is Atom Pink Glass Earrings
To often I see people saying things are vintage and it isn't really. If you want the real look you could do well to visit Hatpins.

Release The Dragon

I have no idea what Game of Thrones is but it doesn't stop me from loving this outfit from Adam n Eve that was inspired by it. With nothing in mind I started to TP around looking for some place I had never been and have some fun.

I raided villages and town, stole a ship and let nothing or no one stand in my way

The texture made me want to touch it. Everything comes in layers it so it is easy to mix things up abit. Maybe with some layers of bloody cuts from battle. I wore the make-up layer called Dragon Queen. Let me show you all the colours.

These have been made to go with the Dragonskin but they would look great when playing a fairy, going to a ball or being a princess.
I had fun this morning and it all came from putting on a beautifully made outfit from Adam n Eve.

It's A Dutch Thing

Before I blog a house or skybox I like to live in it for awhile and get the feel of it. After all I can not really tell you how lovely something is and how well it works for day to day living in SL unless I try it for myself.

I have been living in the Pied-à-terre The Hague from Dutchie for a few weeks and I love it. I have tried to blog this before but with lag in SL and a busy RL it just wasn't possible.

The skybox is in an early 1900s style and the detail must have been carefully researched because Froukje Hoorenbeek has got everything spot on. If you get the skybox you really should get the furniture that goes with it. As you can see it is just so perfect.

I do not have an SL partner but I know many that do, that is why the animations are important. Everything here has something to suit us all. I was able to sit peacefully and work on my own and later the place worked when I have a group of friends around. Couple poses are also included for the more romantic moments. Even if it is for period roleplay, again the poses suit.

The chairs and sofas all come in a range of colours so easy to use in more than one room and just change the colour to suit. The doors open onto balcony's, even the view has been provided if you want (I did). Something I have no shown and I wish I had was the rays of sunshine that can be set. Blame the lag monster.All lights work and the candles light up just to add that extra special feel.
I really can not tell you enough how beautiful this place is and how much I have loved spending time in it. Go take a look for yourself .

I Think I Need Some Help

Some days I feel like 'Beulah' is dieing. Let me explain.
I love SL and the people I have met. I love the store I work at and the designer who owns it.

But.......
When I first started working we had a family thing going on, we hung out and laughed so much. As each of us explored SL more we moved in different directions. Even though we are all still in contact in some way we are not as close and I doubt ever will be. Some now live as 'tinies', another is a runway model/trainer, one is a photographer and another has a texture store as well as role playing. Everyone moved on but me.
Don't get me wrong, I never want to leave the place I work in SL, just maybe have something else running along side it.
I started to blog and again I enjoy it but never became part of the blogging community, no idea why, just never happened. Blogging is expensive so not something I can go overboard in.

This is the part I ask for help - stick with me on this until I explain.
I can not create or design, I do not have that talent and refuse to try and shove out anything sub-standard.
My PC is not strong enough to so any photographic work so that isn't an option.
My practical head kicks in when I visited role play sims and struggled to even play along for a short time.
I am jealous of the folk who have the family thing going on with adopted kids and all that but again, it just never seemed to work for me. To DJ or anything like that is a big NO.
So what do I try, what do I do ?
Do I hang in with what I have and hope the stale feeling goes. Have you any ideas I could try to move my SL on and find new things. DO I just let SL die and enjoy the time I had.
Right now I have no clue, what do you think ?

Night On The Town

It's the weekend and time for a night out. You ever go dancing in SL ? Not a club or anything, I mean to a fancy ballroom. Get all dressed up in a gown, put on a skin that has classy make up layers, pick a hair that is more formal. Put on the special jewelry set. This is my gown for the weekend. PinkTiki is from Purplemoon. I am showing the teal but it comes in many other colours. Oh and the Bolero, so useful with many other things. Had it on with a T shirt and jeans earlier.

Meet Liane from Adam n Eve - I am wearing the natural but it comes in lighter and darker tones as well.
I am really falling so hard for Adam n Eve skins right now. Each one gets better and better. For me, this one takes the best from past releases and puts it all in one skin. I don't need to go on about how great the shading is, you can see that for yourself. The brows comes in different hair tones, manicure and pedicure layers/tattoos are provided. The eye shadows are soft and the lips come in a range of great colours. Great read lips can be hard to find in SL, as you can see below the search is over.

TrinityBelle Meriman has a great store called ' fucifino'. It is kinda new and worth remembering when you are looking for a new SL home or a few bits to re-decorate the one you have. Americano Cottage is one of her latest releases.

You have 3 rooms in all, living room, screened porch and an attic bedroom. It is not over big that it takes tons to fill it but still big enough to move around and have folk over. 120 prims, 18x15 footprint copy/mod/ no transfer. The walls have been beautifully textures, the floor stripped wood so you can add your own style and colour and not have it forced on you. It feels homely and a place I want to hangout. Today has been a bad day for me so I need a place to sit. I deleted my home/garden/house folder by mistake so I need a cosy place - for now this is all I own.

Shades Of Brown

I was trying to get my colour post done but ended up doing this, I like the feel of this. Everything works, well I think so anyway. I was trying to find mahogany things but kept going back to these jeans. Jeans are common in SL but few are well made. Somnia is a great store, doesn't matter if you like the grunge look or want to be more girlie. Everything is made in such a massive colour range that everyone can find something they like.

To let you make up your own mind I stripped everything away to show you the tops and jeans in a range of colours. This is not everything but it will give you an idea.The Ribbed Tops come in light or dark packs and also in sheer. I know so many wear stuff like this in SL on a daily basis but do you ever stop by Somnia to get it ?

If you havent been to the hair fair yet you really need to get over. The build is lovely (I wish it would stay) and the stores have some amazing stuff on sale. I wish I could afford everything I wanted but I had to try and just get some stuff. Let me show you some more.

RezIpsa is a cute store with a little bit of everything. The hair is every bit as good as the clothes - remember the blog post I did ages ago on them - about the best skinny jeans in SL ever ?

Wasabi Pills is a store that I am loving more and more. The designer is creative with releases.

This is a mix lot here - my money was starting to run out lol. Aoharu hair is adorable and with the ribbon being colour change it will be easy to match with stuff. Every year it is a must to get a wacky hair style, the one from Digital Eyes is mine. This will look hot with some latex. (Red)Mint is fun, the feathers are colour change. If you rather, they also can be removed along with the pins.

I love wearing different skins, tones and styles. Candydoll is a brand I have been watching for a while. The skin keeps getting better with each new release and Tami just shows what I mean.

Tami comes in 4 skin tones and has nice shading in the right places. I have on the A cup but this also comes in B,C and D. So no matter what size you rather wear it is provided. The brows has pale, blonde and brunette so again, everyone catered for.

The make-ups are simple and easy to wear. This skin is worth going to demo, so many times I hear people asking for 'something different', well here it is .

Raspberry Aristocrat was my big find in last years hair fair, I never heard of them until then. I bought all I could afford at the fair and then went to the store and bought more. So glad to see them at the Hair Fair this year again with such cute styles and great textures.

Do I even need to tell you how amazing elikatira hair is ? So glad she is back in SL releasing new styles. I never demo I just buy from this store.

This is a new brand for me to wear, how have I missed this until now. I need to get out more.I love the textures and the styles are so cute. You get plain or streaked options with this. This is one store I will return to.

Eclectic Apparel and Accessories is new to me but I found it to be full of very cute things, this is just an example of styles and colour range. The store is pretty big and just when you think you have seen everything, walk up stairs and find so much more. Even men's stuff, so drag the other half and both go shopping. After the last blog post I thought I would show more 'Victoria' but it is the gown this time. My Precious is such a dreamy store with designs that only a tiny amount of people in RL will ever get a chance to wear. I love that in SL any one of us can wear these. The butterflies are so pretty and unusual which just adds to the over all glamour. The lace strapless top sweeps down one side showing skin yet the nude undershirt keep it classy. The skirt is for dancing, the movement is beautiful. We really should have a day that we all wear and blog only gowns.

This is the latest skin from Adam n Eve - isn't she beautiful. Victoria comes in a few skin tones but I have on natural. Above is the base skin, perfect even without any make-up on. The shading is such a win on this, I looked all over and didn't find anything wrong at all.

Above are the lip choices, all in tattoo layer. There is not one of these I would not want to wear often.

The eye shadows are soft and natural, seems only right for this skin.

This is perfect for anyone with a small plot as the footprint is just 12×18. It is one room, shutters and front door open/close. It is copy/mod so you can extend and play with to suit your own needs. No detail has been over looked when making this and soft cool tones have been used to make it easy to personalise it with decor. The best part for me is it fitting beautifully into even the smallest skydome. It lets you have a comfortable, cosy cottage with a small garden created to match.

That's right, you read the title properly, ISPACHI has a new skin to be released and she is beautiful. I am showing 3 skin tones to try and give you an idea of the range available. There one light and one darker and loads more in between these tones. The skin is stunning. Shading in all the right places but not over done. Depending on the make-up wore, Audrey looking sweet, girly, classy or all grown-up. Below are the make-up options you get in a fatpack. The only thing I felt missing on this was the brows. The skin has dark brows so wearing blond hair didn't work. I had no sooner said to the creators and a tattoo layer for light brows got made. So this skin now really will suit everyone. You get a cleavage option with this, hair base and a ponytail to attach. Have you noticed I have wore this in the last few posts before this one ? I have lived in this from the day I got it and I think I will keep doing so for a long time to come.

I have warned so many of you on plurk for so long.The warning time is over, now is the time for action.

When I wake in the morning, get myself sorted and settle down for a coffee break it is normally around 9 am (GMT time). I say good morning and then start yelling at Americas 'TO GET TO BED'. I swear I feel like the plurk police but really, they need to get to sleep at a better time. This makes me feel oh so old, maybe that's how I got the name Mama Beu .

I love shoes, did I ever tell you that. I have a collection in RL, had a bigger one before I got married. In SL I refuse to buy one shoe, I fatpack. Lassitude & Ennui was a store I found way back in my early days in SL and I have loved it forever. Things I bought way back then I still use.
Scully is one of the latest releases. They come with the option of white or black trimming. You would think having a scull on shoes may not be cute but it is on these.

My Precious Black Dress

A little black dress should be in every girls inventory. It is called Cass and from My Precious. At first glance this is a sexy little number but there is something I found with this dress I have never seen before. I love the lace over the boobs but to flash to much is just not me. This dress has a flesh bra layer (6 different shades) so you just wear it along with the dress top and it shows some skin without it being to much. Keeps it sexy, stops the slutty. I tried this with around 8 skin brands in different tones and found a match with them all so I am sure you all should be ok with it as well. It even comes with stocking.

I love this gown even though it is pink. Designed by Tracy Rubble from NZURI, it is named after her daughter. Kay is a little princess and this sweet gown screams out how adorable she is. Tracy is getting better at the shading and details with each thing she makes. It has been a joy to watch her work and develop over this last few years. New Way To Live

I never intended to blog my new home but as folk see it they want to know more. For me the skydome fills the need for garden space a skybox doesn't provide. The sky and grass change colour and you get a range of sizes - this one is the '60X60'. I used a greenhouse for my home so to keep the feeling of space. Good Old British Summer

We had a few weeks with sun here in Northern Ireland and then came the rain, feels like it is never going away. That and the strong winds made me take this pictures in SL. I might have been in a park but still, with the rain hitting my window I didn't feel like walking on a beach in SL.
Anyway, back to the reason I am doing this post. More from the new L`Abel Country Chic collection. This top feels like something comfy to wear. It is called Cyri and comes in 5 colours. I put it on with shorts from L`Abel that came out before but I find them such a useful thing to own. Even when wearing winter stuff I just stick on some tights and they work. So many great things to blog and so little time.
First of all the car from Glitterati, you just can not help but wish this was in RL. This pose prop has 10 male poses and 10 female poses in it. It will also let multiple people sit on it. It has shadows, headlights turn on and off. Colours available - pink, black, red, silver, yellow. or sexy poses or fun group pictures,this is so worth getting.
The Little lingerie set is called Spotty and is from NZURI. This might seem like a new store but the designer isn't. Tracy Rubble used to have a store called Trubble. Trubble closed so Tracy could designer more freely and not just make clothes. This store has abit of everything in it. The 4 colour options are shown, it comes with sheer layer options as well as full cover.
The hair is a brand I have never wore before.It is called Calor and from Simply Britnee. It isn't I don't like this store, I just forget about it but I will try harder in future.
The skin is a new one I am trying out.It is called Sarah and from Essences. I like the shading on this skin and the face is pretty. Think I will play around more with this and use some tattoo make-ups on it. Watch out for future blog posts.Run over and get this skin for just 70L while they have it out.

The Dani pants are brilliant. One of the many things I love about these is you can not see the join line were the sculpt flaw is attached. Detail like this show how much care is put into the design. 6 wearable colours makes it worth getting them all.
The top is call Sashi and it is just what we have come to expect from SySy Chapman. Cute design,sexy and lots of colours to pick from (7 in total, the violet is not shown). The print is subtle and the attached sculpty easy to wear when moving around.

These Doll Ankle Boots are something new from Lassitude & Ennui. I love this shoe store, always have so it makes me happy to find so many new releases from this designer. The detail is as amazing as ever. Just pick a colour that works best for you (really you should fat pack shoes, makes life easier). The wear the HUD and use it to change some colours around to make these fit more to the outfit you are wearing. The tights I have in the picture are from Sways. While these boots are cute to wear with shorts, skirts or jeans over the summer they will also be perfect for Autumn/Winter. For me that makes these a brilliant buy.

Meil from Candydoll

This is a skin I have never wore before. I have seen it on others and it was lovely but when I tried it never looked right. When I got the demo of Meil I tried it hoping it would suit this time. I think it does. This is tan but it does come in a range of skin tones to suit all. I love the kissable lips from this skin. As you can see from the picture above the skin is nicely shaded, nothing over done. Below are the skin options, each comes with its own make-up ( so it suits all viewers) Next is the picture with the lipstick tattoos. This is were it gets really interesting. Start mixing up all the lipsticks with the bright make-ups and you get a skin perfect for the summer. Best of all, anyone using a 3rd party viewer can still enjoy this skin as much as those using the LL viewer.
Another thing this skin has, boob options - you get it in cup size, from A to D and also with or without the hair base.
So if you have been like me and found this brand never suited before, try it again and you might get lucky as I did.

How do you buy just one pair of boots or shoes, I struggle with that. I need to fatpack. Flora from L&E does make buying one pair easier though. You just pick your favourite colour and then you can change it over and over to suit whatever you are wearing. The HUD is easy to use and you get a regular pair and a pair with a re-sizer script in it. Style may changes, classic remains. These boots are classic and worth getting.

Every time I get a skin from Adam n Eve I think oh this is my favourite. Then another one comes along and I fall in love all over again. Dany is beautiful. Shading is perfect, face is cute and the make-ups fun. It also comes with loads of options.
You get freckles, manicure & pedicure to match the lips colours. Hair bases are in black,dark brown, red and very pale blond. Eyebrow colours are black,brown and red. In the pack 2 skins are provided so you have the with or without boobs look.

At first thought I was like UGH what to do for this colour but as I looked into my inventory I had a ton of things that would suit. I feel like being casual right now though, think it might be this cold I have, just don't feel like dressing up right now.
I do what to make sure I show you this jewelry from MIAO . Is is at the Culture Shock event. I Everything is colour change, from the metal to the stones. The metal gives 5 options and the stones have 11 colour options. 100% goes to charity so go grab it while you can.

Precious Empress gown from My Precious is a joy to wear. It is what SL is all about. Wearing things you would never get the chance to in RL. It makes you want to explore and find a sim that is fitting to walk around while wearing this. The colour is vibrant while the gold thread makes a strong, detailed pattern. The skirt keeps on flowing, as you walk the back shows as if it is ready to fall. Oh so sexy. I feel like a Queen.

Casual Monday

DCNY has been at it again. The casual clothes from this store is so wearable. The Linen Tunic is plain but that is good, it shows the beautiful cut of the garment.You can then see little details like the string tie. You get to options with them. Either the matching colour as I have used or a complimenting colour, each has beaded trim to finish. I have shown a few random colours but this top comes in 13 shades. You need to go take a look and find the colour that suits you.

Just some info on the things I wore here. The pants are also from DCNY (I blogged them a while back)
The glasses are from je suis, the side has 11 colours options so can match with any outfit. The bag is also from this store.
The hair is from elikatira, one of my favourite hair stores in SL. Grab the mixed colour packs for the best value.
The sneakers are from Baby Monkey, a shoe store I found very early on in SL and have stuck with it for my 4 years.

One of my very favourite stores in SL has always been Ivalde.

Cyntia comes in 6 stunning colours. The lace is amazing and the belt around the waist gives a touch of extra detail. The sim has been rebuilt and brings a lovely touch of Norway into SL. Worth a visit.

Ayla is kinda new to the SL designing scene but is taking it by storm. She is a stickler for detail, seams matching and hand drawing her textures. All things that make a great designer.
Misty was released a short time back and comes in 6 colours (2 shown above). I like options, think we all do. This dress comes in layers and offers 2 skirts, easy enough to wear as a long top over leggings. Is that enough options for you and all from one little dress.

Blossom gown from Adam n Eve

Why is it so great, I have a new skin and it is stunning. The skin is from Adam N Eve and called Paige. Sachi just keeps hitting out amazing skins. Below is the base skin you get in a pack, as you can see you get the cleavage option. Shading on this skin is perfect, for hand drawn it is amazing how she created this.

Then comes the make-ups, a range of lip and eye colours are provided. I love how we can create our own looks with skins now. All eyebrow colours, nails polish for hands/feet and cheek blush are included. I must learn how to use the new LL viewer so I can stack the tattoos and get more out of this skin.
I am wearing the 'Natural' tone but if this isn't your shade just nip over and demo until you find the one that suits you.

Eggplant was the colour this week, so I had to go shopping. I cheated on the last one and used something I already owned and the point of my doing this challenge was to get out and find new places.
This cute dress was only 50L. I bought it so I could see just what the designs were really like and I have to say I am impressed. The store is new to me but I will get back to it. They so many things I loved.

Tuli is a brand you never need to write up, it speaks for itself. So let me give you the main info on Sarah and then you can go demo and see which shade suits you best.

Tuli has made 'series' in skin tones. Pale, Fair, Sunkissed, Tan, Bronze and Mocha are the basics. Pearl, Powder, Petal and Peach have enhanced pink hues.The skin tone I used most for this was fair. When you decide which tone suits and buy the fatpack you will see 6 skins, each with different eye make-up. The main skin brow is dark brown but you get others in a tattoo (light brow, light blond and dark blond). You also get 2 lots of cleavage options, freckles, 3 colours for lashes and 12 lip colours. A shape is provided, worth keeping even if you are happy with the shape you have right now.

I bought the shirt in teal as I love the colour and will get a chance to wear it time and time again. I like the way the shirt layered up with the Marcia set from Sn@tch. Project Fur

Project Fur opens tomorrow. We have all heard about the terrible events in Japan and done whatever we can to help the people there. This event is for the animals. Owners died, family split, animals hurt. I am so glad that while charities are helping people the pets have not been forgotten.

Why do I feel so strongly about this - let me explain. I have a rescue dog called Taylor and she is my world. I was recovering from what was the worst events ever in my life when I got her. Even though she was only 10 weeks old she had already had a terrible life. Her love healed my heart,I was able to give her a happy safe home. It is good we can help raise money to rescue these animals and maybe then other hearts can be healed.

It wasn't so much the colour this week, more what I wanted to use for it. I nearly did a wedding gown just for the hell of it lol.
Then I came across this sexy little dress from LiNe called Nova. I liked it but it was also more naught than what people expect me to wear ,that meant I had to do it. I thought the fishnet tights from Blowpop would work with the net in the dress. The tights are more expensive than other on the grid but these are one of the hardest things to make and get the ankle right, so worth paying for. The hair is from elikatira , I adore all the hair from this store. The skin was an easy one to find, Mango Mango does the best vamp skin. The pose of from fri.day.

It was this new sun dress from SySy's that made me think of a holiday place. The dress is called Ayla. Soft colours, pretty detail, easy to wear. This is the most beautiful pose/prop set I think I have ever seen. It should have been blogged at least a week ago (along with many other things from Chic Limited). Guess it is good to be reminded what is is out for a limited time so you don't miss it though. With so many amazing events it is hard to keep up at times. Anyway, back to this set. Petals in the Wind is romantic, soft and oh so pretty. It also comes in grey scale as well as the pink shown here.
The dress shown is also at the Chic Limited event from Grixdale, just think this is a pretty little summer dress and so easy to wear or layer up.
